WARDOGS Class Leveling Methods — How Every Track Earns XP

Published 2026-09-14Updated 2026-09-194 min read

All six WARDOGS class tracks explained: which weapons and actions earn Infantry, Medic, Recon, Support, Driver and Pilot experience.

Six tracks, one rule: the gear in your hands decides what levels up.

WARDOGS has no class selection screen. Experience flows from what you actually carry and do, so "choosing a class" means choosing a loadout. Here is what feeds each of the six tracks.

The Six Tracks

  • Infantry (Assault): kills with assault rifles and pistols.
  • Medic: kills with SMGs, plus healing and reviving teammates.
  • Recon: kills with sniper and marksman rifles, plus enemy marks with binoculars.
  • Support (Engineer): kills with shotguns and LMGs, plus building and supplying.
  • Driver: moving vehicles around the map, ferrying players and delivering supplies.
  • Pilot: flying helicopters and landing passengers or cargo safely.

Why This Design Is Generous

Because XP follows equipment, one loadout can level several tracks simultaneously: a sniper rifle trains Recon while a defibrillator in your pack trains Medic and a sidearm trains Infantry. Logistics players level Driver and Pilot in the same afternoon with one truck and one helicopter.

Picking a Direction

  • Want unlocks that help every match? Medic is the team-safety track — the defibrillator at level 11 changes your income permanently.
  • Prefer solo play? Recon turns patience into steady marks-and-assists income.
  • Building and heavy weapons? Support pays for construction, shotguns and launchers alike.
  • Money-first players level Driver/Pilot by simply doing their delivery job — see support fast leveling for the truck loop.

Track the Curve

Season 1 stretched early levels hard (level 20 now needs 250,000 XP — the full table lives in our progression guide), so pick tracks that match how you already like to play. Fighting your temperament to level a track is the slowest possible route.
