How to Skip the WARDOGS Tutorial

You must launch the WARDOGS tutorial once — here's the 15-second ESC menu trick to leave it and never see it again.

The tutorial launches once, uninvited — but it doesn't have to keep you.

WARDOGS forces the tutorial before any real match: the first launch drops you into training whether you want it or not. You can't decline it — but you can leave it in about a minute.

The Exit Trick

  1. Start the tutorial and let the intro ride until you drop into the training base.
  2. Press ESC to open the main menu.
  3. Find the Leave Match button at the bottom-right of the screen — it has a cooldown of roughly 15 seconds.
  4. When the cooldown clears, click it and you are returned to the main menu.

That's it. The game treats the tutorial as done, and it should not appear again in future sessions.

The Bonus Use

That same Leave Match button is your escape hatch from any live match you can't finish — full WARDOGS rounds are long, and sometimes real life interrupts. Nobody holds your round hostage.

If you'd rather stay and learn the sandbox properly, our beginner guide covers everything the tutorial skips — starting with the money system that makes or breaks your first ten matches.
