WARDOGS Price Guide — Standard vs Supporter Edition

What WARDOGS costs in Early Access, what the Supporter Edition adds, and why the developer plans staged price increases.

WARDOGS entered Early Access with a deliberately simple price sheet.
Current Pricing
- Standard Edition: ¥149 on the Steam CN region — the complete game, all modes, no gating.
- Supporter Edition: ¥186 — the same game plus supporter cosmetics and a bundle of starting in-match currency to soften your first shopping trips.
The Supporter pack is sold as a separate item on Steam ("WARDOGS - Supporter Pack") rather than hidden behind edition menus.
Prices Will Rise
The team has been explicit about a staged pricing model: as seasons add content and the game approaches its full release, the base price steps upward. Early Access pricing is therefore the lowest this game will ever cost — but nobody is under pressure to buy day one, because the Season 1 patch already delivered a large balance and stability pass.
What Real Money Does Not Buy
This is the part worth praising:
- No purchasable weapons, armor or vehicles. Everything in the match economy is earned by playing.
- No progression boosts sold directly — the Season 1 update actually slowed early leveling (details in our progression guide).
- The only optional purchase is the cosmetic Supporter pack.
In-match, everyone starts each life broke and re-buys gear with cash earned inside the match — the $149 (or ¥149) admission fee buys the whole sandbox.
Is the Supporter Edition Worth It?
If you plan to main logistics — hauling pallets, flying troops, running supplies — the extra starting currency is a genuine convenience, because logistics earns through volume and early cash smooths the loop. If you are here to shoot, the Standard edition loses nothing. Our should you buy guide goes deeper on who this game suits.
