WARDOGS System Requirements — Minimum & Recommended PC Specs

Official WARDOGS PC requirements for Early Access, plus what the minimum and recommended specs actually deliver in frame rate.

What your rig needs to run a 100-player battlefield without melting.

WARDOGS puts 100 players, vehicles, destructible terrain and a persistent economy into one map, so its hardware asks are closer to a modern large-scale shooter than a competitive arena game.

Minimum Requirements (1080p Low @ 60fps, upscaled)

Component Requirement
OS Windows 10 64-bit
CPU Intel Core i5-8600 or AMD Ryzen 5 3500
Memory 16 GB RAM
GPU Nvidia GTX 1660 or AMD Radeon RX 590
Network Broadband internet connection
Storage 50 GB available space

The fine print matters: the 60fps minimum target assumes upscaling (FSR or DLSS), so the GPU renders below native resolution.

Recommended Requirements (1440p Medium @ 70fps+ native)

Component Requirement
OS Windows 11 64-bit
CPU Intel Core i7-12700K or AMD Ryzen 7 5700X
Memory 16 GB RAM
GPU Nvidia RTX 3070 or AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT
Network Broadband internet connection
Storage 50 GB available space

The recommended target is 1440p Medium at 70fps+ native, or 4K Medium at 60fps+ with upscaling.

Practical Notes

  • 16 GB is the floor, not the comfort zone. With 100 players and constructed bases on screen, RAM headroom helps.
  • DLSS frame generation can now be toggled without a restart, and shadow quality clamps itself on very fast GPUs — both landed in the Season 1 stability pass. If you are fighting stutters instead of enemies, our crash fixes guide and best settings guide cover the usual culprits.
  • Controller support is still rough in Early Access — the developer flags it as a known weak spot. Keyboard and mouse is the honest way to play for now.
