WARDOGS Devilfish Drone Guide — When a $5,000 Missile Makes Sense

The Devilfish launcher: 900 parts and $5,000 per shot. What it's for, how the FPV flight works, and why you only fire at high-value targets.

The Devilfish is a buildable suicide-drone launcher: an emplacement you construct at your FOB, loaded per shot. Each launch burns 900 machine parts and $5,000 — the price of two Rocket launchers for a single munition.
What Deserves a Devilfish
At that cost, the target list is short and strict: high-value enemy equipment only. Enemy self-propelled artillery like the SPH, a dug-in tank, a fortification cluster that's bleeding your team. Firing it at infantry is lighting money on fire — only a kill on something more expensive than $5,000 plus 900 parts pays the bill back.
Firing Sequence
- Build the Devilfish launcher at your FOB (heavy construction, so bring the right hammer — see the FOB building guide).
- Feed it the 900 parts and the $5,000, then take the seat.
- Your view switches to the drone's FPV camera as it climbs. Enemy equipment is tagged in the feed.
- Search from altitude, line up the target, lock, and hold Left Shift to accelerate into it.
- Watch the battery gauge — the drone has limited flight time, so don't spend it sightseeing.
If you whiff, the money is gone. If you hit armor, you've traded a drone launcher load for a vehicle worth ten times the kit — the best trade available to a defensive team.
